Villa Manzara sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac at the foothills of the mountains and overlooking the sea. The panoramic views, particularly from the sun terrace on the first floor, are a delight, from sunrise to spectacular sunsets over the sea.
The Villa is spacious and airy with four generous bedrooms and storage. The sitting room is open plan and comfortable leading into the kitchen, both having French windows leading out onto the dining terrace. Here, there is a magnificent circular glass and tree root table with dining for eight, looking out to the pool.
The pool, a majestic 5m x 10m with a Roman end, is surrounded by a stone patio with sun loungers and umbrellas, and a small garden with shrubs at either end. At night, the pool can be lit up together with patio lights to enhance the visual effect whilst dining on the terrace.
The kitchen is fully equipped with china, glassware and cooking utensils to make any cook feel at home.
Upstairs, the sun terrace, accessible from the top of the stairs and directly from the two bedrooms through French windows, has seating, a coffee table and umbrella for relaxation and spectacular views of the sea and mountains, east and west.

Just down on the main road is a convenience store and a supermarket which provide most things that are required and good selection of wines and beers.
There are a number of restaurants and bars nearby, all within a couple of minutes drive. Of special note is Sardunya Beach Bar, which is a lively and rustic bar overlooking a small sandy cove inhabited by locals and visitors alike for good food, music and company.
A little further along the coast towards Kyrenia, less than ten minutes away, there is the Lapta Strip with a great selection of restaurants, bars and beach clubs, serving a range of food, from English, French, Italian and Turkish to also Chinese and Indian.
A little further on and up the mountain in Ilgaz there is Gillham Vineyard, Northern Cyprus’s newest winery with a tasting room, tapas bar and restaurant.
Kyrenia itself is only about twenty minutes away with a host of shops, restaurants and bars, particularly around the old fishing port overlooked by the 16th century Venetian castle that is of great historical interest.
Further afield is Nicosia, about half an hour away, with much to do and see in the old quarter.
Just above the Villa, there are a number of small roads leading to villages further up the mountain with local bars and restaurants.
For history buffs, the area is steeped in conquest and culture from ancient Greek and Roman times through to Byzantine, Crusader, Lusignan, Venetian and Ottoman occupation. Nearby is St. Hilarion Castle perched on top of the mountain range, where you can walk up to the top for more spectacular views, and Kyrenia Castle with its high and imposing walls.
