A traditional stone-house very close to the center of the village. It is located around 9km away from Poli Chrysochous and Latchi peninsula. There is an easy access too many interesting places around the area like Akama national park and Latchi crystal clear beaches (15 min drive).

The village is located at the “Laona” plateau on the North-West of the island. Its population is around 550 habitants. Widespread belief is that its name is originated from the word “Drosia” which means “Fresh” in Greek. That is reasonable since the climate is very mild during hot Summer period, with almost zero humidity. The village is about 9km from Polis Chrysochous and 26km from Paphos. It is considered to be one of the villages that belong in Akamas Peninsula, which is the only National Park in Cyprus. The last 1-2 decades Droushia from a small isolated village is becoming an attractive tourist place due to its climate, geographical position and its culture. It combines the freshness of Akamas mountains with the crystal clear beaches of Latchi area.
